Al Musella’s List of Clinical Trials and Noteworthy Treatments for Brain Tumors (the Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information)

Content

A database of over 200 new and/or experimental treatments for brain tumors, based on a survey of the main brain tumor centres in the USA and beyond, conducted by the Musella Foundation. Also contains original papers that explain the noteworthy treatments for brain tumors, in an easy to read format.

Other information available

Other information includes brain tumor news, survivors’ stories, support groups, mailing lists, chat rooms, discussion groups and other publications/videos. Web links to most of the other major brain tumor web sites.

Access

There is no charge and no password is required. Search by keyword, advanced search or browsing treatment lists.

Comments

The site stresses that this is not the ‘official’ Government listing of brain tumor treatments, but that it attempts to verify entries at least annually. The Foundation states that they have many trials not listed on PDQ and that it is best to view both. It is updated at least once a week.
