Vitamin C perhaps acting as an anti-oxidant on resistance vessels, seems to reduce blood pressure. This study of 500 mg/day vitamin C for one month, confirmed reduction of blood pressure (about 10 mms Hg mean pressure) but showed no improvement in arterial endothelial function measured non-invasively.
