A Polymorphism in the Glucocorticoid Receptor Gene may be associated with an increased sensitivity to glucocorticoids in vivo.
J Clin Endocrinol Metab 83: 144-151, 1998.
Six percent of this study population had a polymorphism in codon 363 of the GR gene. Individuals carrying this polymorphism appeared healthy at clinical assessment but had an increased sensitivity to exogenously administered GCs.
