    Clinico-pathological and Treatment-related Factors Influencing Survival in Parotid Cancer.

    Br.J.Cancer 80: 1296-1300, 1999

      

    A 40 year experience in the treatment of 103 patients undergoing surgical treatment between 1952 to 1992 are reviewed.

      

    The review suggests that clinical tumour stage and grade are the most important factors affecting survival. Postoperative RT appears to improve locoregional control and may improve survival in certain groups of high-risk patients. Histologic classification can identify 3 survival patterns.
