Multivariate Survival Analysis of 128 cases of Oral Cavity Minor Salivary Gland Carcinomas.

One hundred eighty two patients treated at one centre were analyzed. Mucoepidermoid carcinoma was the most common histology.
At 5 years, the overall survival rate was 85.9% in patients with surgery and 87.7% with combined treatment.
The prognosis of these tumour depend on several variables related to stage, histology and treatment. The recurrence, mostly were at the site of primary tumours. Neck metastases were rare at presentation and after initial treatment.
