Do Urinary Symptoms Correlate With Urodynamic Findings ?
C Amundsen, et al (Univ of Texas, Houston)
J Urol 16:1871-1874, 1999.
Authors have tried to find out relationship between urinary symptoms and the urodynamics findings and they came to the conclusion that subjective symptom reports were not useful for distinguishing among the causes of incontinence. Some sort of urodynamic evaluation, at least simple basic cystometry, to rule out unstable bladder for stress incontinence diagnosis is required before operation.
